India is also home to a growing number of AI startups, with major hubs in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Delhi NCR. Global tech companies like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon are also investing in Indian AI talent and infrastructure.
Healthcare – AI helps detect diseases early, manage large sets of medical records, and enable telemedicine in remote regions.
Agriculture – AI-powered platforms assist farmers with crop selection, weather forecasting, and pest control.
Education – AI enables adaptive learning tools that cater to individual students’ strengths and weaknesses.

Despite progress, India faces several challenges that must be addressed to become truly self-sufficient in AI:
